Using watercolours and mixed media, Hannah is a well established painter of northern landscapes -both traditional and contemporary. The idea of marrying natural landmarks to icons of industrial heritage, left to become part of a landscape, is a key element in her work as well as the effects of light, colour and seasonal change.
Hannah exhibits regularly throughout Yorkshire and has been part of the Grassington Festival and the North Yorkshire Open Studios for the past few years. She continues to produce work for various venues as well as the gallery ArtGarden which has been running successfully since 2000.
Hannah provides original paintings, limited edition lithographs, giclee prints and photographs - and all come either unframed or framed locally. You can purchase any of these images seen in the gallery page by telephone or by visiting ArtGarden in person.

Lead has long been recognised as being the element to withstand the elements and Gertrude Jekyll is quoted as saying “There can scarcely be a doubt that the happiest material for our garden sculpture and ornament is lead.”
Here in Grassington, famed for its history of lead mining, Chris has made an apt home for his business as one of the few remaining lead ornament manufacturers in the country. Using traditional techniques to create bespoke and reproduction features for the garden Chris can produce personalised pieces with initials and dates for anniversaries, weddings and other special occasions as well as impressive larger pieces including classical fountains and planters along with sundials and wall hanging features.
Much of his work can be seen in the courtyard along with a range of stonework, ironware, birdbaths and garden furniture.
